Sally and Nat came all the way here for the sewing machine. We really need t rush our top. Im starting t worry about not being able t finish it in time. Ah well. I just need t overlock and attach the sleeves and empire parts together. We all should have sufficient time!

HELLOOOHHHHH! Im back! :D

The looooong missing period is when Im busy trying my best to meet up with all the expectations of the various lecturers. ESP vik lim in whom nobody enjoy listening to. :\ Sigh. Still, Im pretty excited about sewing the top that we've designed! Though it may not be easy~ Its exciting!! :D Had a hard time with the shirt collar and puff sleeve on tuesday. Blah. Not done with the puff, and we've to start with the toile next week I think! Before that, I need cheese cloth.

Anyway, we had a short stress relieve period yesterday. We did jumping and all at the rooftopin campus 1. Very tiring. One of my first ever form of exercise since I entered NAFA :D. Jo submitted the photos for her photography class assignment which was titled unglam. Tsk. Jo must thank us for the good results okay! (If, the results are good. :P)

We'll be doing patterning for our designs tmr. Then, vik.

Boooooo.

We had sewing today. And it isnt the least fun! We always ended up taking a longer time than needed, boo! Though it is quite exciting how we're able to sew now, haha! Skirts, tops.. Whee! We sewed the V neck top today with a conceal back zipper. Ugh, really. ): I finally know how to appreciate my clothes. It isnt easy at all! Unpicking is irritating. I hate sewing zippers for one, they take up alot of time. And apparently, Im cursed with spoilt sewing machines. The first one I used kept giving me problems with broken threads, the second's needle broke (Im not rough!), and the third, something is wrong, but I dont know how t say it :P

Well in conclusion, I do not like sewing. :\

My tutorial week's gonna come! Two weeks of break. Though it isnt meant to be a break, we decided that its been too long since we've last been to k box. :D Before tutorial.. I've got many many assignments to complete. Im really worried about the rococo proj, the paper doll doesnt look easy!

Went to topshop yesterday for Vic's stock market research. We have to count every single piece of singles, outers and bottoms they have. It is CRAZY. I dont know how long we spent in the shop but we were suspected afterwards, the sales people were all staring and one came over and asked "Hi do you need help?" :\ We stopped halfway and went out. But its okay, we've combed a little more than half of the store I hope :P. We didnt do it blatantly, they took quite awhile to notice :D

Vic and his carrot juice nose had been the joke since last friday. He really cant stop talking. and talking and talking. Product Development is much more fun with Angelynn.

I watched the movie Marie Antoinette.

Not nice :\

Its amazing though how they rumoured about her saying "Let them eat cake" when she was asked what to do about the people in France not having enough bread to eat.

Definitely not the best rumour for a queen.

And her execution is seriously gruesome.

Its not in the show, but I read about it in her biblio.

Apparently everyone cheered when she was beheaded.

Sigh, I dont like movies like that!

And after all these, I didnt even get to know the layers that she wore during the period.

Lunch on a windy day.

Had a very funnily(? :P) awkward picnic with the NAFA people at the fort canning park.

It is not as nice as the botanical garden.

Apparently there have been some construction work going on at the park.

Oh veellls~! We had nice food!

And I had t bring a bag of chips home and bring it back on monday cause we're too full.

Korean Strawberries are the best of all the yummy finger foods :P

Walked a little at Cathay afterwards before heading home.

And for me, before heading into a stuffy, hot, smelly bus that I was stuck in for more than an hour cause' there was a traffic jam. ):

There's so many things I ought t be thankful for!

I got back my results for the sem! Oh man it is not good at all! I thought NAFA is like less strict, but I guess I thought wrong, it is really really strict. ): Not very happy with the results. And they really shouldnt count our elec. into the GPA! I didnt know they're gonna consider our elec results, its just an elective! I got E for Oral Com! ohmygooodness.

But oh wells. Now that I know.. Will work hard!! Im so lazy t practice though during the holidays.. ): But I will work hard! For God, not myself (:

Christmas is coming! I'll enjoy alot alot alot before sem 2 starts! Celebration with sally jo and nat first! :D Christmas gifts is a headache though, thinking of what to buy is a difficult, difficult process!

Anyway, Im back from KL! Funny, because the thing I enjoyed most during the trip is sleeping in a comfy hotel and the comfy coach! I watched Resident Evil Extinction on the bus, its not nice!! Oh man, christmas isnt merry for the turkeys ><

More than 72 million of the nearly 270 million turkeys killed for food every year in the U.S. are slaughtered for holiday meals. This year, just prior to the flesh-focused Thanksgiving holiday, PETA conducted an undercover investigation lasting more than two months at the factory farms of Aviagen Turkeys, Inc., the self-proclaimed "world's leading poultry breeding company."

While working at a series of Aviagen factory farms in West Virginia, PETA's investigator documented that workers tortured, mutilated, and maliciously killed turkeys. The following are just a few of the documented offenses:

Employees stomped on turkeys' heads, punched turkeys, hit them on the head with a can of spray paint and pliers, and struck turkeys' heads against metal scaffolding.
Men shoved feces and feed into turkeys' mouths and held turkeys' heads under water. Another bragged about jamming a broom stick 2 feet down a turkey's throat.
A supervisor said he saw workers kill 450 turkeys with 2-by-4s.
One man said he saw a coworker fatally inject turkey semen and sulfuric acid into turkeys' heads.

PETA's investigator repeatedly brought abuses to a supervisor's attention. The supervisor responded, "Every once in a while, everybody gets agitated and has to kill a bird." PETA's investigator also saw disgusting, cramped conditions. The rotting remains of about 70 hens were left amid live birds—who had to climb over the dead—for more than a day. A supervisor urinated in turkey pens, and workers spat tobacco in the pens as well. The suffering typically found on factory farms was also routine in Aviagen's sheds: Hens' beaks were cut with pliers, massive birds collapsed and died of exhaustion or heart attacks, and turkeys were thrown into transport cages.

Those who eat turkeys are supporting this cruelty. Please help us put an end to this suffering by leaving turkeys off your plate.

Tooks us another I-dont-know-how-many hours, but I reached home at 900.

I spent like what, 12 hours in school?!?

Sewing three buttons onto the smelly cloth gave me a thousand microscopic wounds on my poor index finger.
Seriously, poking a thick thread (Yes thread, NOT string. :P) into a reallyyy tiny hole requires a huge amount of patience!

I really am surprised by how fast NAFA is teaching.
In the third week we’re already sewing, learnt the techniques of drawing faces and bodies, and learnt how t use the illustrator and photoshop t make motifs and stuff.
I thought they would like start from the basics.
Which they apparently did not. :\

Celebrated qiu's birthday a week before the real day!It's a mini surprise birthday party for our dear qiuyy! :D

Decorated the her room with ming while cheryl went out with qiuyy.
Was very very nervous and excited! :P
Oh well, the surprise worked!
At the bang of party poppers and the screaming of four happy girls, the party started~! (:
Ate the little cake, went for dinner at NYNY in lot1, played sparklers at the playground near my home :D

Children Camp 08.
Tiring, yes.
Many mosquito bites, double yes.
But it really is a blessing to look after the kids and talk to them (:

Ytd, out in the morning for the fun factory SV prog.

Today, I went over t the jean yip in tiong bahru t help be hui xian's boyfriend's haircutting guinea pig for his test. :P

That didnt take long, so we decided t go somewhere else.

It’s a neat, clean wardrobe now!

Met up with ming ming for dinner, it was kind of impromptu!

And yes, we talked again!

A very heartwarming talk indeed. :P

Ate at sakae sushi and then we headed over to esplanade!

A long long long fruitful, yet not-so-fruitful day. :\

Well, was awaken by germyy's message "early" (t me! ):) this morning!
Asked if I want t meet up for a little while before my tuition starts.
And we did! (:
Walked around lot1, talked, shopped (yes, in lot1, :\).
Then we headed back t my home, (:!
Used the lappy, took photos, tried t upload photos, & then its about time I leave for tuition :\

Tuition was two hours long, thirty more minutes for the one where I had t leave early.
But its not me, I wasnt late! :X
He forgot about tuition and happily went out; was thirty minutes late! ):<
But okay, he's quite alright today.

Then I decided that since Im at jurong I should really go to DAISO to look for that hair curler thing my sissy was talking about.
But I couldnt find it ):
Bought food, then went home :\.
Kind of a wasted trip! ><

But we decided not t cause' miff have been becoming a fierce rabbit whose actions scream:

Suling is back from a camp that she thought is very, very different and enjoyable (:
Whee !

I got t know many many people much more.
Yee Hui, Hui Yi, Rui Xian, Li Shan, Yee Wah, Eunice, Nelson, Wei Yan, QiQi, Elphia, Wini, Nat and Nicholas! (:!
Had many fellowship, bible studies, talks and "polar bear"s with my roomies and groupies :P!
wahaha.
YAY!
I've always loved youth camps because it's where all unhappiness ends and all the beautiful memories and joy starts. (:

I'm not going t write a grandmother story of that long camp process!
Therefore, I'm going t summarise. :P
I've had fun going over t the really pretty beach,
the sceneries over there at the chalet that are really pretty also! :P,
the really really fun treasure game that pushes you t think so hard for the right strategies(:!,
the talks with the roomies while waiting for the bathroom:P,
the group discussions
& the polar bears! :P!

Well, it got kind of dirty in the middle but its okay.
After I've gone t the ngee ann LSCT(?) orientation, this not the worst :X
Oh and its a really big chalet with four big rooms that can hold up t 12 people! :D!
